RB backlog. Grapefruit, berries, hints of fruity coffee, nuts. Medium sweet, turns tart and offers soft bitterness. Medium body with soft carbonation. A real surprise. Very good BIPA from a small local brewery.

0,33l bottle at home from trade with herrklemann, big thanks. BB 03/2019. black color, medium big tan head. smells spices, peppery, earthy, herbal, bit grassy, nice smell. full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes earthy, spices, peppery, herbs, bit leathery, bit grassy. finishes light to medium bitter with notes of spices, leather and peppery notes. decent one, but rather on the peppery side, drinkable, but balance is not that great, a bit harsh.

Bottle [from Euro Swap 2018-1 thanks to Herrklemann] @ home. Opaque dark brown to black color, medium sized light brown colored head that lasts for quite a while. Aroma is malts, a slight hint of chocolaty malts, nice balance between dark malts, chocolate hints and a light hoppy background. Flavor is malts, a nice moderate hoppiness that goes well with the also limitedly present roastyness. Rather un-bitter I would say as it isn't really sweet but it's definitely sort of soft, mellow flavorwise. Balanced though, so I like it, pretty interesting and well done black IPA imo!
