The one thing Bax Bier and H2ÖL Brewing have in common is their mutual love for experimenting. This is where Groningen meets Valencia and where northern juniper meets Mediterranean citrus. Our citrussy fresh Rye IPA with a nice dry juniper finish is a tribute to these two cities, their people, and the landmarks which make them so remarkable.

Bottle from a local bottle shop. Aroma is malty with spicy rye, tea, soft notes of citrus, soap, caramel, and a touch of herbal-ish hops. Flavour is medium sweet and moderate to medium bitter. Body is medium. Weird beer, rough around the edges and flawed, lacks hops.

Bottled 330ml. -Clear dark golden coloured, medium sized off-white head, mild juniper in the nose. Moderate malty, heavy juniper, notes of citrus and spices with moderate to strong bitterness in the finish. Even maybe touch of honey. So-so.

Bottle @ home. Hazy amber color, quite some yeast particles floating in there, medium sized off-white head that diminishes fairly quickly but leaves fair to good lacing. Smell and taste malts, some hops, a bit resinous bitter, pine, bitter. Decent body and carbonation. Ok beer.
