A Calf Locomotive is not only one part of a set of switcher-type diesel locomotives, it’s also our Imperial Milk Porter aged on Arabica espresso beans, Madagascar Bourbon vanilla beans and Cacao nibs.

As much as we like to brew beer, we can't deny we have a special fondness for freshly brewed espresso.
We just take our espresso differently, some with milk, some with sugar, some with both and some straight. We even have a tea drinker amongst us, hush don't tell anyone..

Highly experimental as most of our brews we figured “Morning coffee anyone?”

Bottle @ home. Dark brown to black color, average sized beige to light brown head. Aroma is malts and heavy coffee. Taste malts, coffee, chocolate, malt and chocolate bitter. Medium body, soft to decent carbonation. I’m impressed. Very nice!

Black with thick creamy head. Aroma and flavour have bitter roasted coffee. Smooth creamy texture. Really lots of roasted malt. Really intense.
