Mikkeller er klar med endnu en IPA, der ikke er bange for at leve op til navnet. Humlen er som den skal være: aromatisk, amerikansk og aggressiv, så man ikke er i tvivl om hvad man nyder. For nyde er hvad Green Gold ligger op til. Karamelmaltens sødme og fylde danner en lækker bund, der rammer smagsløgene, inden humleeksplosionen sætter ind, og som rydder op igen, og balancerer det samlede indtryk, så man kun har lyst til én ting, nemlig endnu en tår. De lækre amerikanske humler simcoe, amarillo og cascade giver masser af citrusnoter, men kæler også for din tunge med fersken og grannuancer samt masser af friskhed.

Bottle: Amber coloured, hazy with loads of floaties, small, stable, creamy and lacy off-white head; solid and dry herbal-piney nose, subdued traces of sweet malt underneath; moderate to solid bitter flavour with a delicate sweetness, medium bodied with a creamy MF; lingering - mainly dry - spicy herbal-hoppy finish with - again - a special amount of balancing pale malt. O.K....

Hazy, copper-red colored, small+ creamy beige good lasting head. Aroma is of caramalt, some caramel, quite strong tropical fruit, grapefruit and pine hoppiness. Taste is medium sweet malt and caramel, medium hoppy aroma of tropical fruits, pine, grapefruit, medium bitterness, dry finish. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, oily.

Draught @ Mikkeller Bangkok. Hazy dark orange with fast disappearing small frothy beige head, light mango-citrus aroma, medium carbonation, medium bitter citrus peel-mango taste, thin body, long bitter citrus peel finish. Very good but I expected more.

Bottle, 0.33l. Pours hazy brown amber color with large soapy off-white head, good lacing and sparkling appearance. Aroma of ripe fruits, herbs, caramel, citrus and passion fruit. Taste starts with mild sweet caramel and resin, following is refreshing citric and herbal, mouthfeel is mild spicy and rather dry, while finish is heavy bitter with long aftertaste. Aavistuksen utuinen, oranssinkuparinen olut vaahtoaa keskiverroksi ja jättää hieman pitsiä. Tuoksu havuinen, hedelmäinen, hieman mausteinen ja makeahkon hunajainen. Maku pehmeän maltainen, eksoottisen hedelmäinen ja havuinen, mutta ennen kaikkea pehmeän karamellinen. Kiva, ei liian karvas tai humaloitu, mutta silti raikas ja pehmeä. Keskitäyteläinen suutuntuma. Laadukas, omaan suuhun hyvin sopiva IPA.

330ml bottle. Piana spora skrzepowata do tego trwala. Kolor jak amber Ale, metne, szaro pomaranczowe. Piekny aromat suszonych polnych kwiatow. W smaku grejfruty, fermentujace pomarancze, papaja, ogolnie sporo cytrusow, nieco karmelowej slodyczy, ale generalnie warstwa chmielowa przytlacza wszystko. Piwo bardzo tresciwe i wyraziste.

Butelka 330ml (12.05.2017). Piwo delikatnie zmętnione o ciemno bursztynowej barwie. Piana lekko żółtawa, jest obfita, dość trwałą i wyraźnie oblepia ścianki szkła. Aromat słodkawy z nutami żywicy, owoców tropikalnych i wyraźnymi nutami karmelu, które bardzo fajnie współgrają z nutami chmielowymi. Goryczka średnia minus o charakterze żywiczno-ziołowym z lekkim akcentem alkoholu, krótka w czasie i praktycznie niezalegająca. Po drugiej stronie wyraźna, słodkawa kontra karmelowo-tropikalna. Piwo jest dość pijalne jak na swój woltaż choć ciało zostało wyraźnie zaznaczone. Całkiem niezła IPA, bardziej w stylu east, ale też nie rzuca na kolana.
