Pannepøt (read Pannepeut) is a beer specially brewed and named as a wink to the Danish market presented at the Danish beer festival ’Københavnske Øldage 2006’ exclusively at Ølbutikkens stand. It is produced to express the brewers gratitude to all the Danish beer amateurs that drink their products daily. Pannepøt has later been available on draught and bottles at bars and shops in Belgium & Denmark. Since winter 2006, this beer’s popularity kept growing in Belgium at such a level that the production today equals Pannepot.

Very dark red brown with a small beige head. Aroma is caramel malty with a bit of boozy fruit cake. Taste additionally gives a bit of cherry drop/cherry brandy,, caramel, sweet with a bit of spice. Slightly bitter finish. Smooth and full bodied. Nicely different to the regular Pannepot.

Bought in Grobbendonk. Yes, it was Pannepeut, not Pannepot. Roasted malt, licorice and salt in the aroma. Sweet flavor. Malty with licorice, raisin, alcohol salt and plums. Roasted malt. A heavy beer, still reasonably well balanced, therefore well made. Good stuff.

Ja temu piwu dalem 4.75? Ja pitole, ale mi sie gust zmienil... albo ale gorszy rocznik. Znaczy przefajne, quadowe, slodkie, owocowe, wcale nie za duzo ciala... no lekko naciagane 3.9 ;)

Many thanks for this bottle to tderoeck. Vintage 2010. Spora piana, ale opada szybko niczym lecace samoloty w filmie Top Gun. Barwa ciemno-brazowa, o zalegajacej mazi na dnie butelki. Aromat 10 letniego porto, rum produkowany w systemie solera, Smakowo bardzo bogato alkoholowe cieplo, rodzynki, daktyle, figi lukrecja orzechy wloskie i przede wszystkim pecan. Spora oleistosc i tlustosc sprawia ze piwo jest bardzo syte i ciezkie. Do degustacji salami i serow dobre polaczenie na sobotni wieczor
