bottiglia lattina 50 cl spina, schiuma bianca fine media persistenza, colore giallo paglierino limpido, al naso malto e luppoli citrica, in bocca malto leggero fruttato, corpo leggero abbastanza watery, carbonatazione decisa, amaro moderato. Forse sono di parte ma ogni volta che la bevo mi vengono in mente i mie viaggi in medio oriente...... Fantastica! 25.08.17

Bottle with turkish food. Pours clear pale golden. Aroma of malt & grass. Taste is grainy. light malts with a sweet finish. Light body. Would be inoffensive in 35C heat in Turkey, less justifiable in any other circumstances

Ook weer een vakantiebier, Turkije. Drink het soms ook wel voor de sfeer in Turkse restauarants in Nederland. Niet heel bijzonder.

Sampled from 0.5 l can as ’EFES Pilsener’ at 4.9% abv from local ’LIDL’, brewed in Germany, best before May 2018. Clear, golden yellow with a thin, frothy, stable, white head. Sweetish, slightly grassy aroma of grains and some straw. Sweetish, a bit grassy-spicy taste of grains, straw and slightest hints of spicy hops, followed by a short, moderately bitter, slightly grassy-spicy finish. Almost medium-bodied, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Quite okay, at least well-drinkable.

0.5l can. Malty aroma, light cardboard notes. Clear pale yellow color, white head. Malty taste, rice notes, wet cardboard, light sour, light bitter. Light body, watery texture, average to lively carbonation and light sour and light bitter malty finish. Not good.

From old tasting notes. Deep yellow gold. Rocky white head. Assertive dry hop aroma. Faint sweet malt flavor. Dry finish is mildly tangy.
