Bottle at the Head of Steam, Leicester. It's a deep gold with a bit of carbonation and not a lot of head. Mild aroma, a bit of lemongrass and soft citrus, with candied orange. Not getting so much pine needle. Fresh astringent bitter taste. I normally dislike medicinal IPAs but this has a certain je ne sais quoi about it, maybe it's the initial hit of tropical fruit followed by an almost umami note with hints of melon. The finish however is too medicinal for me. A mixed bag.

35,5cl botte at Blue Lotus, Vilnius. Pours clear golden with a white head. Hoppy and fairly fruity with herbal notes, citrus and malt. Medium sweet with ditto flavour intensity and bitterness. Fairly sweet and doesn't taste too fresh, but drinkable enough.
