This Triple is a performance, powerful and rich at once, without ever falling into excess. This is a beer that spreads its complexity, without falling into heaviness. The color is golden yellow, bright. The nose has touches of honey, candied apricot . The palate is complex, silky, intense, long, fruity with touches of almonds and dried white fruit. The alcohol content is never overpowering and the end is marked by a touch of bitterness that prolongs the pleasure again and again ...

On tap at Alkmaars Bierhuis, pours a clear pale yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out light bubblegum, candi sugar and floral notes from the Belgian yeast. Flavour is dry, floral and somewhat perfumey, with a rough Belgian yeast character, floral notes, and Belgian yeast esters. Not the most refined tripel, but decently crafted. Pleasant.

Bottle at Goblet. Hazy golden body, white, lasting head. Spicy, herbal aroma, citric, peachy, bit sickly. Spicy sweetish, honeyish taste, nice orange notes, vaguely soapy but passable, lovely carbonation bite, bitterish, very well balanced, well made, shame the aroma put it a bit down.

Bottle, 0.33l. Cloudy copper pour, three finger frothy off-white head, long lasting, excellent retention. Sticky lacing on the glass. Nose is yeast, grass and herbs, some fruity notes in the background. Medium body, high carbonation, lively. Fizzy, prickly mouthfeel, average texture. Balanced bittersweet taste. Aroma of yeast, wheat, grass. Grainy, earthy, minerals. Malty backbone, caramel, ripe fruits. Mild spice. Bready notes, mild alcohol. Medium lasting finish, yeasty. Solid.

Fles thuis geprobeerd, als Deugniet Het is een helder goudgeel bier met een volle schuimkraag welke snel weg ebt. Het heeft een moutige geur. De smaak is moutig en hoppig met een bittere afdronk.
