Bottle, 0.33l. Aroma is yeasty, grainy, dried fruity and floral. Pours cloudy golden color with large frothy white head and average sparkling appearance. Taste starts medium sweet grainy and refreshing dried fruity, following is yeasty, floral and a bit peppery, mouthfeel is warm, while finish is mild bitter. Medium body, oily texture and lively carbonation in palate. Easy going tripel…

On tap at Alkmaars Bierhuis, pours a clear pale yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out light bubblegum, candi sugar and floral notes from the Belgian yeast. Flavour is dry, floral and somewhat perfumey, with a rough Belgian yeast character, floral notes, and Belgian yeast esters. Not the most refined tripel, but decently crafted. Pleasant.

Bottle at Goblet. Hazy golden body, white, lasting head. Spicy, herbal aroma, citric, peachy, bit sickly. Spicy sweetish, honeyish taste, nice orange notes, vaguely soapy but passable, lovely carbonation bite, bitterish, very well balanced, well made, shame the aroma put it a bit down.

Bottle, 0.33l. Cloudy copper pour, three finger frothy off-white head, long lasting, excellent retention. Sticky lacing on the glass. Nose is yeast, grass and herbs, some fruity notes in the background. Medium body, high carbonation, lively. Fizzy, prickly mouthfeel, average texture. Balanced bittersweet taste. Aroma of yeast, wheat, grass. Grainy, earthy, minerals. Malty backbone, caramel, ripe fruits. Mild spice. Bready notes, mild alcohol. Medium lasting finish, yeasty. Solid.

Fles thuis geprobeerd, als Deugniet Het is een helder goudgeel bier met een volle schuimkraag welke snel weg ebt. Het heeft een moutige geur. De smaak is moutig en hoppig met een bittere afdronk.
