Cloudy, yellow colored, small non lasting white head. Aroma is of malt, grains, husky, some sulfur, bit of straw, yeasty bread. Taste is low+ sweet malt, grains, bread, some low herbal strawy bitterness, eggy sulfur, yeast. Low+ bodied, low to moderate carbonation.

Courtesy of kajzer, thanks! Shared with franski, Mrazek and ogivlado. Small white head, tiny, hazy shiny lemony body. Dry grainy, husky aroma, full on blast, sweetish, creamy. Creamy husky taste, vaaague trace citric note, but smooth, slightly stale husky graininess, bordering with sulphur even, dominates. If you’re into this kind of taste, great, if not... Oof. Good, soft just slightly prickly mouthfeel.

Keg at the Brauhaus, Bad Schussenried, 07/02/15. Hazed lemon yellow with a decent off white covering. Nose is pale malt, straw, citric peel, lemon, bread dough. Taste comprises lemon rind, straw, caramel, bready malt. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Clean easy drinker - solid Kellerbier.

Bottle. Pours nearly clear golden with airy white head. Clear aroma of yeast and malt, with notes of hops. Bitter, hoppy flavour with rough notes of yeast and cardboard and touches of malt. Rough and slightly cardboardlike aftertaste. Okay, quite clean and well-balanced but nothing special.

50cl bottle shared with brewing buddies. Thin white head. Cloudy blond pour. Refreshing.

Leicht trübes goldgelbes Bier mit wenig Schaum. Geruch malzig, getreidig, grasig. Geschmack malzig, getreidig, leicht würzig.

Bottle by Dohny, many thanks! Aroma metallic, stale hops, oxidated, bad. Hazy yellow colour, full of sediment. Taste is empty, dull, stale, metallic, soapy, really bad. Sad to say, overall a catastrophe.

Das Zickel aus Bad Schussenried habe ich bereits vor einigen Jahren genossen. Es war nett anzusehen und roch auch nett nach Getriede und Hefe. Der Hopfen häl sich vornehm zurück, verkriecht sich aber nicht ganz. Ein vollmundiges, mürziges Bier mit einem Touch Kümmelbort. Mir hat es gut gefallen.

Bottle, kindly shared by Dohny, many thanks. Hazy amber yellow color with medium white head. Aroma of malt, yeast grassy hops. Malty taste with yeast, apples, bready notes.
