Throughout Northern Europe, light-bodied, well-hopped, low alcohol table beers were often the beverage of choice with all meals at times and in places where the water wasn’t always safe to drink. Le Petit Prince is a dry, unspiced, highly attenuated Farmhouse Table Beer unique to our land in the Texas Hill Country. Naturally occurring wild yeasts impart a sense of place to this unfiltered, unpasteurized, 100% naturally conditioned ale.
Admin Note: In October 2013 Jester King began brewing this beer using indigenous wild yeast and souring bacteria. All bottles/cans from Batch 11 onward should be under this rating.

Bottle courtesy of Jonas, cheers! This was shared with the Ratebeer München group Friday 26th November 2021. Pours hazy light silvery gold with a white head, nice clean, a little funky edge, really refreshing.

Effing A! So stoked to finally try this. Named after my favorite book. Probably the best less-than-3% ABV beer I’ll ever have. Their well water must rock. Batch 18, 2016.

super pale hazy. Funky breath oak, super light body, moldy sour. Super drinkable. Enjoyable without being super complex

$8.49 Bomber, WW. Batch #24. 3.0%. Pours hazy pale gold with a small white head. Aroma is yeasty, dandelion, green grass, light lemon zest. Flavor is wild yeast, dust, earth, hay. Not a ton of flavor here, but what's here is good.

Bottle, batch #20-12.20.2016. Color: Hazy golden, white head. Aroma: Malt, wet hay, farmhouse yeast. Taste: Hay, wheat, moderate sweet, light to moderate bitter and light sour. Peppery and herbal notes of farmhouse yeast and subtle fruity notes of orange, lemon and overripe peach. Flowery and mineral water hints. Medium to below medium body, just below average carbonation. Moderate to medium bitter palate at finish. A lot is flavours and nice complexity for a low alcoholic table beer. Very interesting.

Taster at Darby's Gastown on Halloween party with Christina and her friends. Pours a bit hazy blonde with a white head. Aroma is a bit funky with flowery notes. Taste is similar with noticeable piney bitterness. A bit overbitter, but good.
