330ml bottle. Clear chestnut colour with ruby shimmer and small to average, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, beige head. Sweet-ish, caramel and dark malty as well as slightly fruity aroma, notes of caramel, dark caramel, milk chocolate, some cherry, a touch of plum. Taste is caramel and dark malty, slightly fruity, minimally nutty, notes of dark caramel, hints of milk chocolate, a touch of nougat, cherry, plum. Minimally oily texture, smooth and soft, minimally cloying palate, fine, soft to flat carbonation. Very nice colour, quite caramel-dominated - good.

Thuis uit een flesje. Roodbruin van kleur, beige schuim. Duidelijk caramel in de geur. Stevige alcoholsmaak, ook caramel, iets te zoet eigenlijk.

Bottle. dark brown color. Caramel, licorice and tropical fruit in the aroma. Malty sweet caramelly flavor with cinnamon, licorice, mint and distant grassy hops. Roast in the finish. Too sweet, suboptimal balance. Still nice to drink.

Bottle. Color: Reddish brown, thin beige head. Taste: Smoke, lightly to medium sweet malty with bittery floral hopnotes getting stronger towards the finish. Lightly boozy. Rather complex. Pretty unusual taste for a doppelbock, mainly because of the smoke I think. Above medium body, average carbonation. Nice beer.

Hazy deep amber brown colour, average frothy beige head, diminishing slowly, good lacing. Sweet malt nose, light roasted, caramel, brown sugar, dark fruit, some cocoa. Flavour medium sweet and light bitter, malty, caramel, milk chocolate. Finish roasted bittersweet, alcohol well-hidden, some chocolate and a light fruity note at the end; very nice.
