By using the Czech Saaz hop from Zatec, the beer has a complex pallet of roasted malts and a distrinctive flavour. Brugse Zot Dubbel is known to leave a warm glow in the mouth with a bitter and hoppy finish leanding towards liquorice and even coffee roast.

Another one from the Halve Maan, A nice brown dubbel beer with caramel, bitter taste and some corbonation onthe tongue.

(bottle 0,33l from pivogrando.cz online shop) Overall: Pleasant fruity dubbel. Aroma: Sweet, dried fruits, raisins, caramel. Appearance: Hazy pale brown color. Medium beige head. Taste: Medium sweet, fruits, caramel, spicy. Palate: Medium body. Higher carbonation. Light sticky texture.

Servida en tulipa. Color marrón oscuro con destellos rojizos, espuma esponjosa beige claro de no excesiva retención . Aroma maltoso, algo dulce, notas de dátil, malta tostada, caramelo, melaza, pan negro, regaliz, especias, ciruelas pasas... En boca es de cuerpo medio, algo acuosa, dulce de entrada con ligero retrogusto amargo, notas de frutos rojos y negros, caramelo, malta tostada...En definitiva una dubbel, rica, digna y aceptable.

0,33 bottle. Behind the silly label was a very pale-colored beer. Slightly lighter than a dubbel, nice light brown, with nuances. The head is yellowish-more brownish-white, medium-lasting, but nice. The aroma is caramel, a little roasted malt, but more delicate, dried fruit. Fresh aroma, maybe a little chocolate. The taste is more coffeey, earthier than some dubbels, the roasted malt dominates more. Accordingly, a slightly dry sip effect. There is substance in it! As it warms up, it becomes more flavorful, fruitier, raisinier. Carbonation is also fine. Everything is completely fine, a decent dubbel!!!

A bolondos címke mögött nagyon szíp színű sör volt. Picit világosabb dubbel, szép világosbarna, árnyalatos. A hab sárgás- inkább barnás - fehér, közepesen tart, de szép. Illata karamelles, picit prökölt malátás, de inkább finom, aszalt gyümölcsös. Friss illat, talán kis csoki is érződik. Ízre kávésabb, földesebb némely dubbelnél, jobban dominál a pörkölt maláta. Ennek megfelelően egy icipicit száraz kortyhatás. Van benne beltartalom! Ahogy melegszik, egyre zamatosabb, gyümölcsösebb, mazsolásabb. Szénsav is rendben. Minden teljesen renben van, egy decens dubbel!!!
