Hzay amber brown. Aroma is nut syrup sour berries toffee and balsamico. Taste is sour fresh red wine and berries also toffee and a bit chalky wood. Perfeczly Balanced. Nice.

Wee bottle. Hazy chestnut, low offwhite head. Dry sparkly, light red wine balsamic, a bit rural. Medium body, sparkles, orangepeel, rosΓ© notes, fun, very drinkable. Amazing.

2015 bottle. Unclear deep amber color with white head. Aroma is heavy red wineΡ, raisins, caramel, super complex. Taste is heavy red wine character, caramel, wood. Natural carbonation. Very beautiful character.

Bottle, reddish brown, little head. Sweet and caramelly nose. Flavor is amazingly complex, hints of red wine and tannins balancing the sweetness of the barleywine. Excellent complexity compared to the usual barleywines, points for that.

Tap @ Borefts Beer Festival 2015. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aromas of vanilla, citrus, malt, caramel, dark fruits, woody notes. Aromas of caramel, fudge, vanilla, prunes, toffee, citrus, ripe orange.

Tap @ Borefts 2015. Amber color. Served too cold to fully enjoy this, Iβm afraid. Dried fruit and soft vinous notes in the aroma. Firmly hopped. Sweet with soft vinous notes. Oak, vanilla. Nice.

Keg at the Star and Garter, Bromley. Reddish/orange pour, no head. Nose of plum pudding, red apple, stewed apple, red cherries. Flavours of strawberry jam, red grape, lots more plum pudding. Excellent brew.

Sample from 33 cl bottle at De Molen Barrel Madness, at Biererei Bar & Vintage Cellar, Berlin, July 24. Vintage 2016. Dark amber colour, no had. Excellent barrel ageing. The Rioja barrels adds extra layers of complexity.
