Draught @ Akkurat. Pours amber with a incredible creamy white head. Sweet, fresh and with a small hop bitterness and mild smooth smokeiness in the finish. Nice light body. Highly drinkable.

Sample @ Stockholm Beer & Whisky 2012. Pours clear amber with a creamy brownish white head that slowly dissipates while leaving some trace and lacing on the glass. Smell is sweet and malty with smoked malts, dark bread, orange zest, grass, smoked ham, wood and hints of banana bread and citrusy urinal blocks. Taste is sweet and malty with smoked malts, charred wood, dark bread, smoked meat, hay, leather and hints of banana bread, soup stock and barnyard. Mouthfeel is smooth, creamy, round and medium bodied. Finish is slightly sweet and tiny bitter with dark bread, smoked meats, oatmeal, slightly dry grass, charred wood and hints of banana bread. Very smooth, balanced, rich and drinkable. A great beer!

Draught at SBWF. Clear nut brown, rich firm head. Smoky nose with sausage and beechwood. Mid sweet with soft mouthfeel. Spun sugar and velvetty yet firm malt. Evident but never overpowering smoke. A wonderful rauchbier, among the best in its style.

Tap @ the brewery with Andreas. Dark reddish orange brown, cloudy appearance with a nice white head. Really delicious, caramel, woody, mild meaty aroma. Rich maple/toffee, spunky caramel, ham smoky, light bready flavor. Excellent!
