Draught@HBF. Slightly hazy amber color, small white head. Very meaty, red meat, smoked aroma. Cheesy even. Medium-bodied. Smoked ham, smoked cheese in the aftertaste! Very unique rauchbier.

Würzig rauchiger Antrunk, sehr süffig. Leichte Schokoladennoten, sich, die Rauchigkeit wird leicht süß. Minimal bitter, zum Ende milder. Gut. 11/11/12/12//12

Draught@HBF2013. Amber colour, small white head. Aroma is smoke, tar, toffee, grass and mild wooden and resiny notes. Flavour is fruity, wooden, toffeeish with some herbal notes and just some mild burnt wet wooden notes.

05/06/2013 Ma che siete venuti a fà (tap). Ambrata spenta, leggermente torbida, schiuma bianco sporca discreta, non molto persistente. Al naso sentori di malto, caramello, bacon. In bocca è equilibrata ma un po’ spenta, caramello, affumicato, qualche nota di pane. Corpo medio, carbonazione soft. Forse non al meglio, comunque discreta.

(Draught at HBF2013) The beer poured dark brown and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had smoke, smoked meat, smoked cheese and grilled sausage. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were smoke, smoked ham, grilled sausage, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was smoky. A very smoky and meaty brew.

Draught @ HBF?13 Aroma is stale and odd with smoke, bun dough, sweatåpoop (t. pade) and hints of tar. Flavour has smoke, tar, some sweaty notes. Also some burned wood. Quite leathery palate. Interesting, could work with smoked meat. Draught @ Fermentoren Still quite doughy and feels raw and somewhat stale. Harsh score estimate: 3.3.

Pours dark brown with a tiny head. Aroma of leather, farmyard, malts and hints of smoke. Taste is sweetish and malty with notes of leather, malts, smoke and farmyard. Finish has notes of tar, sweet malts and leather. Quite untypical, but tasty.

Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm. On November 13, 2012.Clear brown color, fluffy off-white head. Smoke, sweet, wood taste. Medium to spritzy mouthfeel, low bitterness. Sweet, smoke, straw scent.Very nice, very tasty, very enjoyable. I’ll drink it again if I get the chance.

(Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm) Reddish brown colour with creamy, beige head. Smoky, malty nose with dried fruit, smoke, ham and apricots. Malty, smoky taste with notes of dried fruit, smoked ham, dark bread, apricots, caramel and a slightly bitter-sweet finish. Quite subtle smoke on the palate. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Ah ... this is so complex, so sublimely balanced and oh so ridiculously good.
