Festive Spruce Ale.We have brewed this special festive ale using malted barley, a variety of high impact specialist hops and hand picked spruce tips which are only ripe for picking during a two week window in the spring. The resiny sweetness of the spruce and malt is countered by a huge hop character, which is just delicious.

At Jim/John is back tasting. Hazy golden with white head. Soft sugar powder, spruce, strawberry/elderflower lemonade syrup, strange exotic fruitiness. Medium sweet, light bitter finish. Medium body, smooth, nice soft carbonation. Interesting and nice! --- Beer merged from original tick of Nollaig on 21 Nov 2017 at 20:40 - Score: 7. Original review text: 3.7
