Dark soft beer with the flavor of roasted bread crust and caramel taste. For this beer, we use caramel and pale malt. The caramel yeast brings the soft, "velvet" taste to the table, and the pale malt complements it, creating the balance. Sweet aftertaste is the result of special brewing mode.

(bottle) Clear, chestnut-brown colour with a medium-sized tanned foamy head. Slightly toasted and caramelly malty aroma with notes of liquorice. Sweet and toasty bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Slightly sugary malty taste but with balanced toasted accents and notes of caramel, a tinge of liquorice and traces of herbal hops; sweet and slightly toasted malty and bitter, also quite lasting finish. A tad sweet but likeable. 12.IV.11

BOttle: Clear, chestnut-amber coloured, fluffy - but quite stable - off-white head with a little lace; sweet caramalty-toasty nose with a tinge of liquorice retronasal, dried fruits as well; sweet flavour, light to medium bodied, quite soft; slight hoppy traces in the sweet caramelly finish. A bit on the sweet side, but all in all O.K. .....

500ml Bottle (Helsinki Beer Festival 2010) - Red in colour. Malty aroma with hints of dried fruit and caramel. The taste is sweet with raisins and caramel. It gets a bit sickly after a while.

Deep amber color, small off-white head. Very grassy nose with some caramel. Harsh malty, grassy, some solvent (5,2%!). Quite typical "Baltic"-Russian beer. Industrial and not very clean.
