Bottle at 100 piv. Full bloody red colour. Strong blackcurrant aroma and flavour, really intense. Moderately sourish, sweet. Very refreshing, very moreish. Excellent.

15.09.2015, 0,375l bottle @ home:
Nice light purple creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly fresh fruity, black currants, grass, berry skin, minerals, old cellar, weeds. Taste is sour-ish sweet fruity, black currants, soda powder, sorrel, berry skin, sugar, grass. Slightly dry and fresh mouthfeel, but with kind of a metallic aftertaste. Very nice for the low ABV.

250ml bottle. Murky dark purple colour with small, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Sweet-ish, fruity and slightly spicy black currant aroma, hints of tartness and leafy spciness of corresponding shrubs and parings. Taste is sweet-and-sour fruity, black currant notes, sherbet character, a sugary touch. Nice.

Pours a deep purple from a bottle. Flavor and aroma of black currants/black raspberries. Slightly tart, moderate sweetness. Very good beer.

Draught @ Ölrepubliken. Pours hazy purplish red with a big frothy and creamy purplish pinkish white head that slowly dissipates while leaving lots of sticky trace on the glass. Smell is fruity with wheat crackers, black currants, lemon juice, hay, barnyard, minerals and lemon peal. Taste is sweet, slightly sour, heavy fruity and tiny earthy. Mouthfeel is round, tart, tiny berry skin astringent and light to medium bodied. Finish is slightly sweet and sour with wheat crackers, black currants, lemon juice, hay, dry soil, iron and lemon peal. Black currant lemonade in every sense of the words. I love black currants but this is far from both lambic and beer. Tasty fruity drink on a hot summer day though and the appearance is quite amazing.
