From a 35 cl bottle shared in Avon NC. Pours a cloudy reddish brown with a rose colored head. Slight pepperment nose. Flavors of tart cherry and other red fruit. Tart finish.

Bottle at home, from Beermerchants, 16/05/15. Rich Ribena red with a well appointed crimson covering. Nose is rich blackurrant, raspberry jam, light wood, straw. Taste comprises sweet blackcurrant squash, light background aciditiy, blackcurrant syrup, sweet licks. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, sweet blackcurrant rinse. Ok - no discernable lambic profile, I’d rate this as an OK fruit beer if a touch overly sweet.

Donkerrood bier met weinig schuim. Smaak is fris zuur en fruitig, cassis en bessen. Best goed bier om te drinken waarin de Lambiek in de smaak nog licht is te bespeuren.

25 cl. bottle poured in to a Flute. Lovely, deep red colour with a dense, creamy pink head. Sweet aroma with black currant, yeasts, a discrete wooden note, sugar and black currant juice. Taste is sweet. Medium body with a creamy texture and a lively carbonation. Rather good for a 3.5 % beer. Finishes dry and slightly acidic with black currants, juice and sugar. Tart enough to be refreshing - not sticky at all.
