We've finally teamed up with our friends at Pizza Port Brewing Co., one of our favorite breweries in San Diego. When deciding what to make, we figured something excessively hoppy was the logical choice, and so this collaboration brew was born. This triple IPA is an intensely hoppy and bitter San Diego-style India pale ale. The light malt character and light body allow aggressive notes of pine, mango, and citrus fruits to overtake the palate, while a dry finish allows it to remain crisp and refreshing. Make the Logical Choice and enjoy this beer immediately, much like the brewers did leaving work to enjoy it in sunny San Diego. Cheers!

Can from Beer Gonzo, shop, Earlsdon, Coventry consumed at home Sunday 5th November 2017 whilst cooking Cottage Pie with a Cauliflower Cheese topping and Loz makes Fig, Raspberry, Hazlenut and Honey Cake. Pours gold very good clarity, white head atop. not a great aroma, it's hoppy but there is always one hop that I pick up a touch of bile with and whatever this is I suspect this is the one. Soft mouthfeel, a bit boozy, sweet and with a big malty push. There is a bit of pine and resin and it's nice but Loz prefers this. Good. A5 A4 T8 P4 Ov15 3.6

355ml can from Aeon Liquor, Tokyo. Canned 06/23/17. Pours clear golden orange with a large foamy head. Aroma of crisp grassy and herbal hops, pine, resin, citrus, hints of grapefruit and mango. Taste is crisp, hoppy, herbal and citrusy with some mango, pine, grapefruit and loads of grass. Finish is grassy, lingering bitter and herbal with loads of pine, resin, caramel and toffee. Not super fresh, but quite nicely hopped.

Közepes, örökké tartó hab, borostyán szín. Citrusos, mangós, ananászos illatok. Ízében citrusok, mangó, ananász érezhető, fenyős-gyantás és némi fűszeres felhanggal. Sima, krémes érzetű, testes, selymesen szénsavas, erősen keserű. Nagyon finom, a magas alkohol miatt alattomos, jól csúszó sör, kiváló arányokkal.

Especiados. Cuerpo medio a intenso algo denso y espumoso. Bastante buena, para repetir sin duda.

Draught at Gollem during their weekend dedicated to AleSmith and Founders. Very thick, cobweb-lacing, creamy, dense, egg-white head over a lightly hazy golden beer with warm pale orangey hue. Lush, strong, perfumey bouquet of candied orange peel, dried mango, sweet red onions, feta cheese, gin, cheese crackers, grapefruit zest, pine needles, olive oil, biscuit. Clean but very vivid fruitiness in the onset, mango flesh, lychee and yellow kiwi, lifted up by mandarin freshness including the thin sourish accent; lots of residual sugars though, as well as minerally side notes from a relatively fizzy carbonation. Oily and resiny, full mouthfeel, bit glueish; supple, 'soggy biscuity' malt sweet background, on which an early, long-lasting, very aromatic 'new' hoppiness develops, resiny and thoroughly (spicy) bittering and drenching the mouth and nose cavities in a fragrance of fresh grapefruit, sweet red onions, pink peppercorns and a hint of marijuana, followed by gin-like, warming alcohol as can be expected from an IIPA. I love this kind of overly generous New World hop beers regardless of intended style - because this is just not vinous and barleywine-ish enough to qualify as a typical imperial IPA, rather feeling like a DIPA, even if the distinction between both is arbitrary - and not even made at all on this site. Hugely enjoyed this one, nonetheless.

Thank you! Sampled draft @ Gollem. Paler citrus, big creamy white head. Nose is a bit more mellow onion, diesel, garlic round hops with white grape fruity. Taste is onion, doughy, white grape, big hop oil, lightly doughy, nice but not sure if it should have had some more malt presence or if it needed to be even stronger and go for IIIPA hop juice thing but nice even if lacks some malt backbone for me but not for others likely.
