We've finally teamed up with our friends at Pizza Port Brewing Co., one of our favorite breweries in San Diego. When deciding what to make, we figured something excessively hoppy was the logical choice, and so this collaboration brew was born. This triple IPA is an intensely hoppy and bitter San Diego-style India pale ale. The light malt character and light body allow aggressive notes of pine, mango, and citrus fruits to overtake the palate, while a dry finish allows it to remain crisp and refreshing. Make the Logical Choice and enjoy this beer immediately, much like the brewers did leaving work to enjoy it in sunny San Diego. Cheers!

Clear golden pour with a white head. Notes of pineapple, citrus, pine resin, grapefruit, caramel. Classic west-coast imperial IPA, and, as is the case with most of them, a bit too boozy.

355ml can from Boxbeers. Poured almost clear golden in color with a thin white head. Stingy bit of boozy nose at first, ripe fruits and pineapples. Flavor has citrusy hops, grapefruit, pine and pineapples. Quite juicy. Good drinkability despite the high abv. Warming finish but not boozy.

Can 355ml (Boxbeers, canned 06/22/1?)
Clear golden colour, medium-sized white head. Aroma has riped fruits, citrus, pine and harsh alcohol. Medium-bodied. Pear fruity, piney, mango, sweet and fruity. Kick of alcohol in the finish. Tolerable but really overrated here because of the two names in the can.

Sample at Daily Growler Powell. Slightly hazy bronze color with a medium off-white head that dissipates steadily to a wispy film. Stringy lace. Aroma of tropical fruit, piney hops and malt. Medium to full body with flavors of grapefruit, siny hops, mango and caramel malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a fruity hop aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Can at L42 - thanks to Mr Tips. It pours clear yellow - gold with a thick white head. The aroma is soft, sweet, pine needles, honeysuckle, sugary, lemon-lime, grapefruit, tinned fruit, sherbet, cracker, white bread and some boozy alcohol. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Perhaps a bit old-skool, but enjoyable enough.

Golden yellow, clear. Resin clean hop nose, quite nice hop oils there. Tastes pure hop juice, sweetness there but nicely covered with bitterness. Dangerously drinkable, full can can be done way too easily. Dry hoppy bitterness in the aftertaste. Very good one
