Kentucky IPA® is a deliciously hoppy, golden-hued American India Pale Ale.
It has bright citrus flavors and sweet floral aromas that come from liberal dry-hopping with American hops. The India Pale Ale style is the fastest-growing craft beer style on the U.S. market.
Kentucky IPA is the first canned beer produced by Lexington Brewing & Distilling Co. and is sold in four-packs of 16-ounce cans. This format is ideal for sporting events, outdoor concerts, at the beach and other places where glass is not permitted. Kentucky IPA is also available in bottles and on draft.

$1.75 bottle from Rio Hill Wine. Pours clear golden with an offwhite head. Aroma is light orange and grapefruit, perhaps some tropical fruit and flowers. Flavor is orange and grapefruit flesh, floral hops. Not overly bitter; smooth and drinkable but blends in and probably hides a bit in a world overwrought with IPAs.

Bottle shared with Niilstrong @ The Sunflower, Belfast. Clear orange color, medium sized white to off-white head. Not a lot of aroma, just get a slight hint of sweetish hoppiness. Flavor is leaning towards a bitter hop IPA rather than a more fruity / fruit hoppy IPA. Decent beer though.

Pour is a clear orange with a large white head. Aroma is faint hops and caramel malt. Flavor is olh hops and dirty malt. There are probably 1000 oth IPA’s to try before you get to this one.

Bottle @ Beer Company (Kemenes), Budapest. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are rich malt, caramel, little hops, fruits and has a light bitter finish. I think this beer must have been too old.

Bottle from local Super U at Camping Kost-Ar-Moor. Hazy amber with short lasting offwhite head. Sweet toasted caramel malts. Sweet resin, honey, tea, biscuits, light alcohol and rubber. Medium sweet, under medium bitter. Under medium body, low carbonation. Messy IPA with pretty high ABV for what is offered. Surprised to see American beer in a random french supermarket though! --- Beer merged from original tick of Alltech Kentucky IPA on 18 Dec 2017 at 11:09 - Score: 5. Original review text: 2.8

At a tasting, medium but quickly diminishing, bubbly head, slightly hazy deep yellow, aroma of flowers and slightly over ripe oranges, feels a bit like a deodorant, sweet and a bit sickly fruit flavor with some tea, unpleasant bitterness. Dissapointing.

Bottle sample at a tasting at troubles’s place. Thanks Tom L. Clear golden witha white head. Aroma of citric hops, somewhat stale, with acetaldehyde. Flavor has sweetish malt, somewhat stale citric hops, a soapy note, and alcoholic touch, and a bitterish finish. Medium-bodied.
