Bottle bought at Dublin Airport. Poured a golden orange colour, slightly cloudy, with a decent sized white head. Aroma is hoppy, not that strong, with citrus notes. Taste is toward heavy on bitterness, medium body, average carbonation, with a hoppy bitterness to finish. I do like IPA’s with a good level of bitterness and this was an enjoyable beer.

Bottle 12fl.oz. [ As Kentucky IPA ].Clear medium orange color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, pine, grass, orange - citrus. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, fruity hops, hoppy, caramel. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20130815]

bottle - Pours clear gold with a one finger white head. It smells mostly of citrus hops and some mild bready malt. It’s moderately bitter, on the light side of bitterness for an IPA, with some citrus character. Medium bodied and decent, but below average for the style.

Golden, clear, large off white head
Aroma - Citrus lemon, soft grapefruit, quite fresh hops, light sweet pale malt, light orange
Taste of citrus zest, lemon zest, soft grapefruit, light pale caramel malts, quite soft hopping for US IPA, straightforward, hops are a bit dull
Palate - Medium carb and body, light oily, soft sweet palate, light bitter. Finish of citrus zest, soft sweet malts
Overall - Easy going IPA, OK not wow.

Oak and tea nose, moderate strength. Hazy orange, medium yellow head, decent lace. Oaky orange peel flavor. Light body, soft carbonation. Nicely balanced with good wood. Probably won’t appeal to the hop heads, but for those who appreciate quality and nuance, this was good.
