The London Alt Beer is a original Dusseldorf-style "old" ale. It is full-bodied, aromatic, and refreshing. While the sweet malt character dominates this traditional style, carefully selected Spalt hops provide floral aroma to give it balance and roundness.

Bottle@Railway, Streatham, London - Amber pour with white top. Toasty malty aroma and taste, twiggy and light herbal hoppy, some light caramel and toffee sweetness coming in, dry bitter finish. Not bad at all. ---Sent via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Keg at the Kings Arms - London. Pours deep gold with a creamy white head. The aroma holds some toasted grains, leaves, earth. Light-medium sweet flavor with doughy brown bread, toasted sugars, ripe berries, faint leafy hops. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Finishes sweet, with lots of lightly toasted bready malts, toffee, brown sugar. Tasty stuff.

Keg at the kings arms launch. Hazed amber / but brown coloured pour with a fading white halo of head. Aroma is neutral, nutty malts, little dried fruits, but not much there. Flavour is nutty malts, mineral chalky, bit of earth, and dried fruits. Palate is a bit thin and chalky, highish carbonation. Lingering jammy fruits and nuts.

On tap at Kingโ€™s Arms Bethnal Green. Clear mid brown colour lasting beige head. Actually does smell and taste like a Dusseldorf alt. So top marks for that. Brown malt. Some mild hop sting citrus on finish. Decent
