Appearance: Clear dark brown brown color with a finger small off white head. Some lacing.
Aroma: Mild malty, roasted malt and mild fruity.
Palate: Medium + body. Slightly sweet and a mild bitterness. Soft carbonation.
Taste: A bit sweet caramel malty, roasted malt, some chocolate and mild fruity.
Overall impression: Tasty and fresh and a fine bitterness.

Bottle. Aroma sugary, chocolate, caramel. Clear very dark brown colour. Short lasting head. Taste is sugary chocolate caramel. Thin body. Average. Light hoppiness in the finish.

getrunken und bewertet Anfang 2013 als."Bierreise England"
Damals gekauft unter dem Titel Bier-Reise Eingland Ein weiterer Biertypen-Ausflug der kleinen Brauerei aus Oberösterreich. Ich bin zwar kein Kenner der englischen Bierlandschaft, aber dieses Bier hat mir ganz gut gemundet -allerdings findet sich im Abgang ein leicht metallischer Nachgeschmack. Da es nicht immer verfügbar ist (aber dann zumindest in den Merkur-Supermärkten in ganz Österreich), sollte man ruhig einmal zugreifen und es probieren.

Bottled, thanks Marko! Dark brown, small head. Cocoa aroma. Sweetish with clean mouthfeel and light body. Shallow cocoa flavour, low bitterness.

Bottled. A dark brown beer with a tan head. The aroma has notes of alcohol and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, metal, and caramel, leading to a dry, boring herbal finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a clear brown with an orange hue and a creamy and lacing beige head. Burned, caramellish nose. Medium body, sweet caramel and subtle roast with hardly any hops. There’s an edge of cardboard in there too. A Porter light indeed. 290911

gift from mukke. clear brown, small light brown head. malty aroma, very slightly roasted. flavor is roasted, malty, slightly hoppy, tasty but a pretty thin porter.

33 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden deep amber to hazzlenut brown with a small off-white head. Aroma is roasted malty and caramelish. Bitter, toasted malty and breadish. Bitter and roasted finish - dunkel or schwarzbier but not porter.

07/06 0.33 l bottle. It poured deep brown body with small head. Malty, slightly roasted aroma. Weaker, but fine flavor, coffee, biscuits, some caramel and slightly lactic. Shorter, but prominent coffee finish. Fine porter, but misses quite lot of body.
