Opaque old gold color with an evergreen and grapefruit aroma. Taste Zia a great combination of mild acidity and citrusy hop bitterness. Tropical fruit sweet and tart flavor at the end. Light body, easy to drink.

0.473l can, courtesy of CanCrusher. Aroma of stone fruit, tropical fruit, melon, bubblegum, vanilla and citrus. Pours cloudy dark straw color with large soapy white head and average sparkling appearance. Taste starts tart juicy tropical fruity and citrusy, following is floral and biscuity, mouthfeel is quite smooth, while finish is mild bitter. Medium body, slick texture and soft carbonation in palate. Wind of sour change…

16oz can shared at the Spring DC tasting. Poured a citrus-yellow color with a medium sized, bubbly white head. Aroma was light sour character. Hop masked more than I expected. Pleasant.

Slightly hazy pure golden coloured body with an absolutely beautiful pure white head, about five to six centimetres tall at first that fades to just a single centimetre after a few minutes. Aroma of crisp, elegant, spontaneously fermented yeasts, nectarines, peaches, light sugars, a dash of flowers, some dry malt and a touch of tropical fruits like guava and lychees that are very soft-flavoured. Light-bodied; Assertive effervescence; Strong apricot and nectarine flavours at first with a tart, soured fruit flavour that shows immediately and then gives way to a light, more bubbly malt profile that shows some grain, but more of a subdued wheat note than anything else. Aftertaste is rich, elegant, soft, fruity, dry, tart and quite complex, especially for the alcohol at play here. Overall, a very nice and robust tart (not really soured), spontaneously fermented beer that does show nectarines, apricots and fruit as the primary sweetness here, with a lot of bubbles, carbonation and nuanced malts that make this enjoyable throughout. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from the Department of Beer and Wine in Alexandria, Virginia on 24-July-2020 for US$5,30 sampled at my house here in Washington on 24-September-2020.

Bottle shared by someone at Borefst Beer Festival 2015. Pours hazy orange with a big white head. Aroma has lots of stone fruits, orange and lemon zest, citrus, tropical fruits such as pineapple and passion fruit, light lactic tart. Taste is very complex. Melon, citrus, stone fruits, passion fruit, yoghurt, funk, dry finish. Wish I had more of this!

Thanks Tim. Nice fruitiness, but not quite as much as I'd like. Touch of tartness, is it nectarines? I dunno. Quite a tingle on the tongue. Nice.

650ml bottle. Pours a hazy pale gold with a large, foamy, long lasting, off-white head that leaves plenty of lace. Sweet fruity aroma of pale malt, nectarine, peach, apricot, orange, pineapple, lemon, passion fruit, lacto and light Brett. Sweet fruity flavour of crackery malt, nectarine, peach, apricot, lemon, pineapple, passion fruit and lime in a dry, sour lacto finish. Medium body with a soft, creamy, smooth texture and average carbonation. Very juicy, phenomenal.
