Kannst nix falsch machen: Des Helle schmeckt immer.
Geradeaus und geradean – unser Helles ist kein Trunk für viele Worte, sondern ein ehrliches, direktes Bier. Doch lieber a weng philosophisch?

Sunday afternoon, 9th Sep 2018. Sat in the brewery biergarten, half-litre on tap. Clear golden pour, white fluffy crown, dry and refreshing with a little more hoppines that maltiness. Lovely in the setting we had it, went well with the richness of my wild boar meal.

Straightforward German Helles, hitting all the proper stylistic points—bright gold, easy-drinking, grainy sweetness, dry floral finish, lots o’ straw—without straying from tradition to add any signature notes. Lager esters add hints of apple and lemon, and the finish has a lingering sweet tone that isn’t unwelcome. Nothing spectacular, but incredibly drinkable.

03-08-18 // 500ml bottle, gift from a customer. Classic bavarain Helles, full flavoured, fullbodied smooth Helles with a slightly sweetish malty aroma, very mild bitterness. Grains, bread, minimum honey sweet. Good.

Tap at TCBW 2018. Pours golden. Aroma is sweet, malt, grains, cardboard, somewhat buttery. Flavor follows the nose, but has also some bitterness. Overall: drinkable.

Bottle. Biscuit malt and hay aroma (with some cardboard). Golden yellow with moderate head. Moderately sweet lemon, biscuit malt, and mildly bitter hay flavor. Good body. My bottle was a bit oxidized (as expected) - still a good beer.
