Bottle at home. Aroma of dark malt, hint of roast, some chocolate, caramel, raisins, light herbal notes. Flavour is medium sweet with a pleasant moderate roasty bitter finish. Body is medium. By all means a fine Bock.

Thuis uit een flesje. Een goed bokbier, mooi zwart, in de geur wel wat caramel, maar slechts heel licht zoet in de smaak. Wel zo prettig.

Bottle at home. Deep reddish dark brown with beige head. Dried dates, raisins, brown sugar, milk chocolate, light rye bread, light sugary, dead leaves, cinnamon. Over medium sweet and under medium bitter. Bit over medium bodied. Quite nice!

Bottle @ home. Clear dark amber to red-brown color, medium to full sized off-white to beige head that lasts for a decent while. Don’t get a lot of aroma. Taste malts, slightly ash, iron, leaves, somewhat bitter. Decent to medium body, medium carbonation. Ok beer.

Bottle at home. Very dark brown, almost opaque, with thin tan head. Sweet roasted malts, caramel, chestnut, spices. Medium sweet, light bitter. Over medium body, very big malty feel, velvet smooth and subtle carbonation. Usually not a fan of bock’s but this one is rather nice. A bit like a doppelbock. Great mouth feel and subtle palate. --- Beer merged from original tick of De Landloper on 23 Dec 2017 at 13:22 - Score: 7. Original review text: 3.5
