Complementing these rich, malty tones is a firm hoppyness. A dryhop mix of Simcoe, Nelson Sauvin and Dr Rudy resulted in an outspoken hoppy profile which reveals itself most strongly in the aftertaste. Though quite low in alcohol, this is very full in taste and not one to gulp down. That is, not before having examined its complexity from every possible angle.

Bottle at home. Aroma of toasted malt, some caramel, some sugar, pine resin, fruity hops. Flavour is moderate sweet with a moderate to medium bitter finish. Body is light to medium. Decent beer, but I was not very impressed. Could use more body and less sugary malt.

33 cl bottle @ home. Deep amber color, clear. Big, light beige head, receding until a thin layer is left, with some lace. Aroma’s: hops, some resin, light earth, light caramel, light red fruit. Retronasal: hops, a bit earthy, bitter, roasted, light caramel. Flavor is moderate bitter, roasted. Light bodied, not thin. Finish is bitter, dry. Not what I expected, but quite nice.
