Voedselverspilling: Op zuivel na, wordt brood het meest verspild in Nederland. Maar liefst 380 miljoen kilo brood wordt jaarlijks verspild! We zijn dan ook erg blij dat het gelukt is om gered brood als ingrediënt voor ons Bammetjes Bier te gebruiken. Bammetjes Bier is het zomerse zusje van Pieper Bier!
Smaak van Bammetjes Bier: Dit broodbier smaakt als een Weizen. Een biertje met een zomers karakter dat door haar bijzondere receptuur een lichte gisttroebel en een hint van banaan heeft.
Over het brood: Bij het brouwen van Bammetjes Bier worden verschillende soorten brood gebruikt. Uiteindelijk red je met één biertje bijna twee boterhammen!

33 cl. @ bottle @ my parents home, bought @ Albert Heijn Leersum. Hazy orange yellow with a very thin white head. Familiar banana and cloves aroma with some faint citrus somewhere. Sweet taste with a slight metallic note and a thin body. Sub par weizen and I really, unargumented, hate the 'don't waste food' story behind this.

Bottle @ BBQ. Hazy yellow with a medium sized white head. Smells sweet, malts, some herbs. Tastes herbs, malts, meh. Medium body, medium carbo.

Fles gedeelt met Roelzie1986. Het is een troebel oranje geel bier met een wit schuim. Het heeft een gistachtige geur. De smaak is zurig, gist en banaan.

Bottle at home, golden beer, medium head. Aroma is yeast, fruit. Taste is the same, fizzy, bitter sweet, not bad.

Hazy pale golden colour, tall frothy white head, dissipates slowly, light lacing. Wheat, lemon, yeast. Taste light sweet and bitter, hint of acidity, wheaty, fruity. Aftertaste as in taste, light body, watery texture, soft carbonation, refreshing, interesting idea to make beer from old bread.

Bottle shared with Bram, thanks for helping. Slightly hazy golden with short lived white head. Sweet malts, coriander, cloves. Moderate sweet and bitter, bit tangy and wry. Bottle at home. Cloudy yellow, golden color. Good fresh aroma. Taste like a nice weizen (not as good as the Bavarian). Very nice this beer is made of old bread, a good initiative!

33cl Bottle from AH. Hazy golden yellow colour, white head. Aroma of yeast, banana, quite sweet, light spicy. Flavour of banana, some wheat slickness, light yeasty, fruity, esters, light bitterness. Light bodied. Boring Weizen as they call it themselves, becomes cloying after a few sips.
