Smaak van Pieper Bier
Door de neutrale smaak van de aardappels komt de hopsmaak sterker naar voren. Hierdoor proef je een bloemige bitter die door kenners wordt vergeleken met een Pale Ale.

Bottle shared by a friend, 10 cl sample. Slight hazy golden color, short frothy head. Aroma is slight spicy, bit earthy and flowery hop and a bit cardboard. Soft bitter taste, slight sweet. Not much flavor to be honest, but at least not a lot of horrible off-flavors I have seen in previous potatobeers.

Eher wässrig getreidig-hopfiger Antrunk. Geringe Bitterkeit, hell malzig, der Hopfen verblasst schnell. Noch okay. 8/8/8/9//8

Orange colour with thin, quick fading head. It has a similar hop bitterness to many an English Bitter. Quite floral. Perhaps a hint of potato or is that the power of suggestion...

33cl Bottle from Vonk. Hazy deep golden colour, white head. Aroma is floral, fruity, light malty, bit of caramel, some veggies, it’s just a tiny bit off. Flavour is light fruity, medium sweet, caramel, floral, citrus, dry floral bitter finish. Light bodied. Way better than expected.
