Sampled @ Billie's Craft Beer Fest 2022, Friday Session. A clear orange brown beer. Aroma and Taste of caramelized dark malt, intense hoppy, resins, pine.

(Bottle) Reddish amber colour with medium sized beige head. Malty, slightly hoppy nose with notes of dried fruit, rye bread, caramel, orange peel, pink grapefruit, pears and brown sugar. Malty, hoppy taste with rye bread, dried fruit, orange peel, pink grapefruit, caramel, treacle-toffee and a generous spicy/citric bitterness in the finish. Rich and tasty with both rye and hops shining through. Very nice.

Draft. An amber beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of rye, barley, caramel, and citrus fruits. The flavor is sweet with notes of hops, citrus fruits, caramel, rye, and barley, leading to a bitter finish.

Tap. Hazy amber color with eggshell head. Aroma is fruity hops, resinous, caramel, nutty. Taste is resinous, caramel, a touch red berries, bready. Oily mouthfeel with low carbonation. Nice and old school!

Bottle, 6.6% Appearance is murky ruby, with a 1-2 finger solid beige head. Aroma- blackcurrant, hint of apple, spicy notes, malt loaf, hoppy brambly fruit. Taste- spices, fruit crumble, hop bitterness, firm malt presence, a bit juicy and fruity at the end, rye spiciness. Excellent.

33cl bottle (6,6%, Centennial, Chinook, Simcoe, bottled 31/01/19 BBF: 31/07/19) from Malting Pot bottle shop in Brussels. F: big, tan, creamy, very long lasting. C: brown, hazy, opaque. A: a lot of orange, tangerine, mellow tropical fruits, passion fruits, bit caramel. T: solid malty backbone, grapefruits, orange, mango, mellow pineapple, bit pine, caramel biscuits, very nice as expected, full body and soft carbonation, fully enjoyed.
