Cloudy red beer with a thin beige head and a typical rye beer aroma with a grapefruity hit too. Flavour follows suit. It’s lighter than expected but it’s still very tasty. There’s a bit of an earthy quality to it in the malt and a nice hoppy aftertaste.

Draft at Cask Pub. Hazy maroon volor, thick beige head with solid lacing. Aroma of spiced pine. Taste has spiced, bitter burnt brown bread. No amber ale is hopped like this. This is a rye IPA.

Pours dark amber. Tawny head. Intense aroma is mango, passion fruit, grass, caramel. Creamy and warm. Full body. Long bitter finish.

Bottle at home. Pours hazy amber, nose is orange, citrus, burnt toffee, taste is similar,roasted, sweet and hoppy.

Bottle. Muddy amber color. Earthly hoppy smell, taste of sweet malt with a bit of caramel and quite some yeast. Hoppy and fruity, but only modestly bitter. Nice.

Bottle @ Home. Pours a hazy dark amber with a offwhite head. Aroma of malt, caramell, grass, fruity, citrus, some pine. Flavor is malty, yeast, caramel, grassy, citrusly hops, some pine and resin. Medium body, soft carboantion, lasting bitter finish. Great beer. 240814

330ml bottle from the Cheese & WIne Shop, Darlington. 6.8%. Dark brown amber colour with a reddish tinge, foamy beige head leaving some lacing and aroma of caramel, rye, spice, citrus & pine hop. Taste is sweetish malty, rye, earthy, with floral, lemon citrusy, pine hoppy notes and lingering bitterness. Smooth mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft carbonation, lingering spicy bitter finish. Very drinkable.

330ml bottle from beermerchants. 6.8%, hops listed as simcoe, centennial, cascade. Pours clear mahogany, good long-lasting white head. Aromas of resin, pineapple and caramel. Light spice on the taste. Oily texture, long finish. Nice.

Bottled 11.09.13 - Pours dark copper orange with a smooth foamy head. Aroma of fresh exotic fruits, pine, citrus, grass and caramely malts. Taste is smooth, malty and hoppy with loads of exotic fruits, crisp caramely maltiness, hints of rye, grass and citrus. Finish is hoppy, crisp and malty with loads of pine, bitterness and resinous notes. Nicely hopped, well balanced amber ale.

Sampled on November 25, 2013.Label state 6.8% ABV.Hazy brown color, dense tan to light brown head. Sweet, hoppy, cream scent. Malty, herbal, bitter taste. Medium mouthfeel with low CO2, medium high bitterness. Herbal, hoppy aftertaste.
