Hazy golden color with small head. Wonderful aroma: armpit, almonds, wine barrel; later, some layers of fruits appear. Soft mouthfeel, not too carbonated; it blends very well the character of the yeast with the juicy fruitiness; it’s mildly funky, a bit salty, with a touch of mango.

750ml bottle (thx, Nick M.!). Bottled on 2015-08-12. Pours a hazy golden with a white head. Aroma is funky (kind of similar to Gueuze), fruity, mango notes. Taste is pretty the same with some barrel notes. Very good.

(On tap @ Warpigs HF Day, Copenhagen, May 12 2016) Pours lightly hazed medium gold with no head. Aroma is dried mango, guava, grapefruit, white wine grapes, oak, light cellar. Flavour is pungent dried mango, white wine, pine needles, resin, buttery oak, puckering grapefruit juice acidity. Finish is tart as fuck but not overly sour, and dry with oak. Medium body and soft carbonation. Perhaps not the layers and layers that some BA saisons could have but it’s totally on point and the mango character nails it.

9th July 2016: bottle at the RBESG in Barcelona. Poured a hazy, dull light golden colour, wispy head and collar. Interesting aroma and taste, sour and tart fruits rule the roost with a definite mango flavour trying to override the off vinous nature of the blend. Not really my thing.

Bottle at RBESG16 thanks to kermis. Hazy light golden with white head. Apricot, hay, lactic sourness, wild peach, funk, hay, gooseberries, wild peach. Medium sour and very light sweet and bitter. Medium bodied. Lovely beer!

[ As Hill Farmstead Civil Disobedience (Release 15) ].Unclear medium orange yellow color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, barnyard, tart, minerals, sour mango, vinegar notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and acidic with a long duration, minerals, tart, dry, mango - tropical fruit, vinegar notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20160512]
