Bottle @ Kulminator (1987). Still very good Kriek. Fruity, red colour, white head. A little bit too sweet maybe.

1987 Vintage // 37.5 cl. dusty bottle @ Kulminator // unfortunately this one was a sweet one & not a sour one, not sure really why there are still so many bottles of this one floating around, maybe the production used to be huge? // taste is pretty standard for a seriously aged sweetened sour beer // appearance is blood red ruby, clearly reveals its age, head, is just some mould looking bubbles // smells like sweet mouldy jam, cough syrup, cherries with a dash of raspberries // smell is cherry syrup, jam, cough syrup, quickly blending into mould, decay, sewage water, routing carpets, old aspartame, its holding up quite well but it has definitely decayed quite a bit // body is slightly thinned out by age // not bad after a while all this sweetened sour beers, all kind of get to the same place, its better to get an old bottle of Liefmans Kriek which are pretty fantastic at this point still

Interessant! Vielen Dank an kappldav123 für das Bier! Test vom 1.10.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: -,11,12,11,11,11 - 11,16

Bottle at Grote Durst, shared with Robin. Very nice duty and musty kriek, still has fruit after all these years. Amazing.

On tap at Akkurat in September 2010. (Vintage 1989) Hazy red with no head. Sweet aroma of cherries with some light funk. Very dry and refreshing to drink, no carbonation and a very light sourness. Incredible to have the possibility to drink beer like this in Stockholm, thanks to Akkurat I love you!

Draught, Vintage 1989 @ Akkurat. Ap: Hazy red-brown. Small white head. Ar: Sweetness of cherries mixed with sourness of ammonia. Fla: Sour cherries, some sweetness, dry in finish. Ov: Medium bodied. Acidity, almost corroding fluid due to the ageing and powerful carbonation. Very refreshing!

Found at a beer collector. Best Before date, 1991. Red brown cloudy beer with a small white head. Somewhat dusty aroma of cherry, almond. Sweet cherry and almond flavour, only slightly tart. Feels much like a sweetened kriek.
