Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass dark, but not black, small head. Starts intense malty-smokey, bacon notes, fine spicy. Background dry and bitter. Finish with some woody notes, still intense smokey. Great!

Gravity cask at Akkurat. Sweet. Notes of marzipan. The smoke is there, but in a quite moderate way. Semi dry.

Deep amber color, steady small off-white head, some lace. Wet wood, smoked ham - Bamberg smoke, tobacco and some caramel. Light to medium-bodied. Sweetish maltyness, some earthy notes, wood, smoke. Nice lingering smokeyness, otherwise not so special Märzen.

0,5 l. bottle. Deep amber colour with a medium to small, creamy white head. Aroma is smoked, glased ham, hops, and smoked malts. Light bitterness with a lively carbonation, thin to medium body, but with a nice, long lasting finish that lingers on. Nice smoker!

Rauchig hefiger Antrunk, der leider etwas muffig erscheint. Wenig frisch, etwas bitter, schnell verschwinden die Rauchnoten im Hintergrund. Zurück bleiben getreidige und herb-bittere Noten, ein insgesamt muffiger Eindruck und ein unrundes Bier. Vom Antrunk her erwartet man mehr! 9/7/8/7/8/8

50cl Bottle at In de Wildeman. Clear dark reddish brown colour, off white head. Aroma of sweet toasted malts, light smoke, caramel. Flavour is sweet, malty, caramel, bacon and molasses, smoky finish. Medium bodied, soft carbonation. Like a dunkler bock with smoke. Nice.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Burnt orange pour with an off-white head. Smoky, caramel and little chocolate aroma. Good, smoky flavours. Pork crackling and a splash of bacon. Classic rauchbier taste. Smoky, dry finish. Nice. .

Bottled. Strong smoky aroma, meat and nice. Medium amber color. Light body, creamy smoke and malt with some caramel. Woody and sweet; minerally. A bit too sweet, but nice, light, easy-drinking. Strong smoke aroma but flavor not as rich as the best.
