Magus ja päris mõru, karamell, tsitrus, õrn hapukus, suhkur, linnased. Alkohol on võrdelmisi tuntav. Ok taseme rüübe, vastu ei hakka kuidagi, aga teist korda raha ei maksaks.

Cloudy copper colour with a small off-white head. Proper lacing. Nose: candied citrus fruit, caramel malt, honey, spicy hop notes. Medium to full body. Soft carbonation. Taste: medium sweet, lots of special malts, honey, candied fruit, spicy hop. Medium to heavy bitterness. Long lasting hoppy ending. A convincing effort.

The cheapest can in BrewDog Tower Hill - £4 compared to a £19 pastry stout. Spicy grainy marmalade aroma. Hazy light-medium brown. Frothy creamy off-white head. Initial bitterness smooths out into marmalade sweetness. Rye spice throughout. After the first couple of sips the booziness becomes evident. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Flat carbonation other than an afterthought of bubbles into the finish. Long slightly astringent finish. I like a marmalade-esque beer. Good stuff.

Tight creamy off white head stayed on a hazy reddish brown still body. Tangerine, raspberry, sweet citrus & resin aroma. Medium bodied, creamy & aerous in the mouth with a cloying back. Red berries, pine, resin, sugar, syrup & spices with malt undercurrent.

Can at the Rake. Aroma is strawberry jam, bit spiky. Fill bodied but jammy sweetness was good. Light spikiness. Good stuff. JAM TARTS!

LCRBM2: Red berries aroma, red berries flavor. Earthy, flowery hops. Almost oily mouthfeel. Lacks balance.

Can from BevMo in Dana Point to glass. Hazy copper amber pour - very nice. Fine foamy white head. Aroma is honey, toasted rye bread, pine resin hop. Taste starts with big bitter resin bite, lush malt that has honey, biscuit, toasted bread, warm alcohol but not overwhelming. Tingly bitter finish with lasting warmth. Medium carbonation. Very good - complex malt and strong pine hops make for an interesting beer that’s a great example of a double red IPA.
