330mL bottle, pours black with a small off-white head. Aroma is very earthy, with toasted malt and some staleness. Flavour is along the same lines, with toasted malt, earthiness, some chalk and a little staleness. Roasty, dry finish. More pleasant on the palate than the nose. Decent.

Black color, creamy beige head with good retention and nice lacework. Aroma has notes of black chocolate with roasted malts. Flavor with a light bitterness, coffee, burnt wood and some coconut hints. Roasty final with a enjoyable presence of alcohol.

Dark brown color, small steady brownish head. Chocolaty, roasted aroma. Medium to full-bodied. Roasted and coffeish flavor with delicious salted licorice. Lingering hoppy, roasted and salty aftertaste. Balanced and smooth brew - mix of two good ones.

Aroma has butter, cocoa and soy sauce typical to baltic porters. Also some dark chocolate. Flavour has ash, cocoa, some grapefruity hops and metallic vibes. Also some gooseberry bush. I like Limfjordsporter and love the Beer Geek series but this is just a disappointment. Could work better with less hops.

A colablack beer, a head is big and beige. The strongest aroma are black coffee and roastiness, then some liquirice, sweetness and herbal bitterness. Taste has coffee, roastiness, quite strong biterness, that is long in the herbal end, also some liquirice and quite low sweetness. Medium bodied, slightly warming in the throat. Coffee and roastiness with strong hoppy notes, tasteful.

(Bottle, 0.33 l - BB 22.12.2019, from Alko, 20170125) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had coffee, chocolate and burnt malts. Palate was medium bodied with rather high carbonation. Flavours were coffee, burnt malts, chocolate, ash and bitterness. Aftertaste had coffee with milk, burnt malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was burnt and bitter. A tasty brew but the coffee was out of balance.
