Bottle pour into nonic pint glass from Julio’s Liquors. Aroma is strong pineapple, cherry, peach, light pine. Appearance is clear golden yellow with great sparkle, 1/2 finger-width white foamy head with good retention and sudsy lacing. Taste is as aroma--moderately sweet pineapple with cherry, peach and milder bitter pine with malt balance. Palate is light-to-medium bodied with thick, creamy texture, slight spicy lively carbonation and finish. Overall, this is a flavorful imperial IPA that is a sweet treat, without any bitter balance, but doesn’t go over the top. High marks all around.

On tap at Howells & Hood. Golden with a white head. Fresh and hoppy with pineapple, mango, resin and some light caramel. The finish was hoppy. I liked this one.

Pours gold into a shaker. White head with medium retention recedes leaving scant spiders. Sour resin aromas. Hot caramel and sour vegetables front to back.

12 oz. bottle, pours a cloudy golden with a medium white head. Aroma brings out a wallop of piney hops, some cat pee and big tropical fruitiness (melon especially). Flavour is really lovely, with tropical fruits (peach, melon, etc.), soft citrus and a blast of piney hops. Despite a huge burst of hops, there is no astringency at all. Drinks so cleanly. Wonderful IIPA.

Tap at Stone in Asagaya. Clear gold with a small ring of white foam that lingers throughout. White grapefruit zest, orange juice, green pineapple with some light mango on the nose. Citrus fruit all over the palate. Easy drinking with the alcohol well-hidden. Good pithy, fruity bitter finish that almost stings. Really solid. --- Beer merged from original tick of Stingray IPA on 06 Jan 2016 at 22:53 - Score: 7. Original review text: Very nice double IPA.

Sampled on draft at 3R6P this beer poured a dark honey color with a small creamy white head that left decent lacing. The aroma was tart and citric with notes of floral hops and pine. The flavor was tart, citric and mildly bitter with noted alcohol presence and elements of pine and catbox. Medium length citrus and alcohol finish. Moderately full bodied. Ok.

Bottle from Bine & Vine. Pours Pours translucent gold with a white head. Aroma is near dank - but most pieces are citrus and light stone fruits. Med + body. Flavor is very near dank, and there’s some ridiculously mixed tropical and light stone fruits. It is not very bitter, and arguably not very dry, but it is hoppy in extreme and deliciously fresh and fruity. Amazingly tasty.
