Bottle at Speciaalbier Café De Markies, Leeuwarden. Aroma is extremely roasty with coffee, syrupy notes, dark chocolate, roasted and burnt malt, soft vanilla, charcoal, notes of dark fruits, mild liquorice. Flavour is medium sweet and rather heavily roasted bitter. Body is full. Very nice, potent flavour and aroma, bold Stout.

330ml bottle, B498, 2017 version, bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. The oily pour reveals a fading one-finger thick espresso head leaving crocheted lacing on the glass. Deep black body. Rich aroma of dark chocolate and molasses, nicely roasted. Solid roasted malt-driven dark chocolate taste profile, hints of dark fruits beneath. Bitter roasted coffee finish, mouth filling and smooth. Just the kind of slow sipper I like to enjoy on a dark Saturday eve. (Tromsø 17.02.2018).

Flaske 330ml fra Vinmonopolet Tromsø - Sentrum. Merket 2017 men samme prosentstyrke som i 2016. (Bottled 16Nov17). Svart. Direkte pent! Aroma av sjokolade & lakris. Silkemyk munnfølelse. Smaken tørr sjokolade. Balansert. Blir veldig tørr & moreish etter hvert. Toppøl!
