Bottle, batch #009, bought 19.12.2016. Black colour, nice brown head that sticks to glass. Aroma is lots of rather unpleasant alcohol, raisin. Imperial stout? This rather tastes like a very alcoholic Belgian dubbel. Where is dark chocolate or coffee? Light bitterness, not sweet. Lively carbonation, too high. What a disappointment!

Bottle 355ml (Pub Winston). Opaque black color, small steady brownish head. Aroma has dark malts, licorice, alcohol - solvent. Full-bodied. Very sweet with licorice, dates, sugar and alcohol. Some bitterness in the finish. Warming aftertaste. Way too sweet alcoholic for my liking.

Bottle, 0.355l. Pours pitch black color with thin soapy light brown head and sparkling appearance. Aroma of roasted malt, smoke, alcohol, medicine, licorice and grassy hops. Taste starts with moderate sweet roasted malt, follows by licorice, dried fruit and alcohol, mouthfeel is warming, spicy and somehow dry, while finish is heavy bitter. Full body, thick texture and lively carbonation in palate. Helluva strong kick in the ass...

Bottle from Bottle Baron. Black body with a medium tan head that gradually fades. Faint lacing. Aroma of bourbon, truffle chocolate and black cherry. Flavour of cocoa powder, dark chocolate and burnt caramel. Medium to full body with a slick texture. Soft fizz. Very sweet and indulgent.

Bottle, 355 ml from Svijet Piva, Zagreb. Pours black with small tan head. Roasted malts, lots of chocolate, licorice. Heavy sweetness with bitter finish. Oily texture, thick, soft carbonation. Full bodied. Nice stuff, bit too much on the sweet side.
