Bottle from Drankenspeciaalzaak Jelle, Leeuwarden. Roasted and peaty aroma with liquorice, ash, burnt malt, and hints of vanilla and dark fruits. Flavour is medium sweet with an above moderate roasty bitter finish and a slight sourness. Body is medium, a bit light to carry the aroma. Nice Turfstout.

Bottle 0,33ltr: Opaque black colored brew with brown foam. Dry bitter taste with hints of roasted malts, peat, coffee, chocolate and faint vanilla. Watch out it can gush.

Bottle. Black. malt, roast and licorice in the aroma and flavor. Malty sweet, full bodied. Hardly any Carbon. Some warming alcohol. Pleasant, fairly simple imperial stout, without any peat (= turf). Thanks ShivanDragon!

33cl bottle from a trade with ShivanDragon, thanks Edwin! Gusher! A black beer with a huge good lasting tan head. Aroma of dark roasted malt, coffee and liquorice. taste of liquorice, dark roasted malt, coffee, roasted bitter finish.

8 4 8 3 15 Bottle at Pint Winterbierfestival, Gouda ‘18. Black with a small brown head. Aroma of roast, dark chocolate, licorice and light coffee. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter. Above medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Sampled from bottle at Goud Winterbier 2018. Dark brown with light tan head. Sweet deep roasted chocolate malts, vanilla sugar. Big sweet and deep bitter. Bottle at Winterbierfestival Gouda. Black with brown head. Some peat, roast, smoke, licorice, ash. Light sweet malts with lots of roasted bitterness. Medium bodied with slick oily feel. Nice for what it is.

schenkt zwart (zeer licht olieachtig) met bruine beperkte kraag. aroma van geroosterde en gebrande mouten, chocolade, cacao, zoet en lactose.
