500ml bottle from Tesco, Billingham. Clear amber colour, foamy white head leaving alittle lacing and aroma of malt, light roast, caramel, toffee. Flavour is malty, with biscuity and lightly roasted, nutty, bitter notes. Smoothish mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft to medium carbonation, dry nutty grassy bitter finish. Quite drinkable.

50 cl bottle @ home, BBE 09/2015
Aroma is mellow and quite simple with toffee typical to English ales. Flavour has toffee, grapefruit, some minerals and grass. Quite aggressive hop profile for a bitter – but I like it.
