As a gift, can. Macro lager for what it’s worth. Bright fizzy drink and nothing more

Can at home. Very light straw with short lasting fluffy white head. Light lemon, mineral and a nasty chemical/herbal bitterness. There’s barely any malts at all, which I guess is not that bad as there’s no nasty sweetness here. Bitterness is quite in the foreground throughout, but it’s more bad hop extract than any fresh hops/herbs. Light bodied with crisp feel. Not very good.

0,5 l can, bought at Grüne Woche 2015, Berlin. Clear golden in the glass, one finger head, high carbonated. Sweet grainy on the nose. Taste is more boring cardboard grainy, citrus sweetness, watery, low bitterness. Too much carbonation.

Many thanks to Cunningham for the 50cl can. The beer is golden in the glass and neutral in the nose. Neutral-malty beginning. Slightly sweetish in the background. Refreshing, but not deep at all. Slightly bitter in the aftertaste, but only very moderate under the neutral, slightly sweetish body. Hints of grain, not as crisp as expected. Neutral-grainy with a very light bitterness on the tongue.

Can at home Didn’t pour, no info on the view . Smell is sweet malts ( here we go again ) Taste is quite bitter ( not really hoppy ) bit dry , some malt notes . Easy drinkable - as a lager should be - but kinda watery in the end . Very surprising taste given the scent . Not a thing to seek out, but better than expected and not too bad in its genre either ... Would it be the Belgian brewmasters ? Chances are small , its better than established Belgian brands such as Jupiler / maes / ...

Pours a clean golden color and a medium white head, which dissipates rather quickly. The basic malty aroma is complemented by some minimal grains. The taste, which is sweet at first, continues with a nice and balanced body, and finishes with a decent bitterness. Drinkable and pleasanty non-offensive.
