(bottle) Dark brown colour with a beige medium-sized foamy head. Distinctive aroma of milk chocolate, cacao powder, butterscotch and notes of dark berries, accompanied by delicately roasted malt. Moderately sweet and mildly roasty bitter flavour, medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Mildly roasted malty base with loads of chocolate flavours, cacao, toffee and slightly fruity accents of dark and red berries, also hints of vanilla; bitter-sweet, mildly roasted malty finish with notes of chocolate, fruity accents and vanilla in the aftertaste. Some vanilla like white American ice cream and roast. Nice mix. Black pour with decent head and lacing. Caramel. Bittersweet finish. Bottle at Smokehouse.

500ml bottle. Darkest brown colour with average, frothy to creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, beige to tan head. Sweet-ish, slightly artificial, milk chocolate and cocoa powder aroma, hints of vanilla, hundreds and thousands, a touch of white coffee. Taste is quite similar but doesn’t find an adequate equivalent in a creamy texture; comes along rather thin and somehow metallic-repellent instead. Far from being as horrible as ’High Water Campfire Stout’, but I’m still not into this kind of flavour.

Tap at Highbury. Big cocoa, hot chocolate forward nose that just never quits. Milk chocolate on the palate and easy drinking. A touch of toffee in there it seems. Light roastiness which really allows the chocolate milk-like character to shine. Really enjoyable, but maybe a bit too sweet for some.

On tap @ Una. Pretty much pitch black this one and it has a really nice creamy dark beige head on the top. Smells absolutely fantastic this! Loaded with chocolate, sweet cocoa, vanilla ice cream, wood, mocha and roasted malts. Absolutely fantastic, and I'm even sitting outside on a somewhat windy day, still no problems highly enloying this aroma! Tastes pretty darn nice also. Surprisingly and I have to say a bit disappointing on the texture. Really thin and almost a little watery while it's soft prickling on the carbonation. The taste however is quite good also. A bit like hot (only cold) chocolate. A mocha bomb loaded with chocolate. Vanilla also in the aftertaste. Nice one 17.04.2015

0,5l from bottle at Bevog Festival. BB 06.04. 2017. black color, small tan head. smells of licorice, spices, peppery, some vanilla. oh no, vanilla beer, not a fan. medium to full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes of ugh, vanilla, some coffee, licorice, peppery. finishes lightly roasty with notes of licorice and vanilla notes. not a fan of vanilla beers overall, and unfortunatly this is no exception. not the way i like my dark beers.

On tap at Pudel, Tallinn. Dark mahogany with a beige head. Mmmmm, cocoa! Reminds me of chocolate milk, or possibly mor of some chocolaty liqueur? Well certainly cocoa in the aroma, hints of dark fruits, caramel and vanilla too. Medium sweet with balanced flavours and a mild bitterness. Pleasant and dangerously drinkable.
