Cocoa Wonderland is a full bodied, robust porter with natural mocha malt flavours from the complex malt grist, complementing the decadent additions of real cocoa beans to the maturation process. A truly wonderful, award winning Chocolate beer.
Initially brewed in collaboration with the girls at Cocoa, Ecclesall Road, Sheffield to celebrate their 10th anniversary.

Can: Poured a black color stout with a nice large brown foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of black chocolate notes with some cocoa notes. Taste is a mix of roasted black chocolate notes offset by cocoa notes and light residual sugar notes. Body is about average with a creamy feel and good carbonation. Enjoyable chocolate forward stout.

Cask at the Wild Swan, Holborn on 14th April 2026. Deep ruby black with shallow yet dense tan foam and full lacing. Dark chocolate aroma. Some cake fruits. Rich and intense earthy chocolate in-mouth and a long finish of coffee and exquisite chocolate. Velvet smooth mouthfeel and a full body. Superb.

Appearance: dark brown in the pour leaning towards black in the glass with a big sturdy frothy khaki head which dissipated fairly slow and left a great deal of messy lace
Aroma: big milk chocolatey tones with some vanilla sweetness with a light sweet wafery malt backbone
Flavor: meshes all those prior noted aromas into a pure decadent sweetness; finishes chocolatey sweet and an ever so slight touch of bitterness seemingly working to nip the sweetness from being overly done
Texture: medium bodied; between being a sipper and being sessionable; good endurable smoothness but not becoming sticky as I thought it would after smelling that aroma (guess that messed with my mind a bit)
Overall: what an English chocolate porter! Rich and decadent in aromas & flavors and doesn't effect the texture! Well daggum! I would definitely return to this one!

440ml can from Waitrose, in Bath, England. Pours a very dark brown color with dark ruby highlights and a large, thick, light tan head and excellent retention. Very good lacing. Dark chocolate aroma. The taste follows the nose, with sweet milk chocolate and dark bittering chocolate notes mixing together. Creamy texture. Super smooth and clean. Almost a dessert beer. Medium body. Medium-light carbonation. Low bitterness. And the 6.8% ABV is invisible. Great beer

0.44 l can from 'Beyond Beer', canned in March 2025. Clear, very dark ruby to black with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, beige head. Sweetish-malty, gently roasty aroma of chocolate, caramel, vanilla and some coffee. Quite sweet, malty, moderately roasty-bitter taste of chocolate, coffee, roasted hazelnut, vanilla and caramel, followed by a short, gently roasty-bitter finish. Medium to full body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Tasty Porter, quite rich, not excessively sweet .

Black with a tall, light beige head. Chocolate and light roasted malt burst forth from the glass. Medium bodied. Has chocolate, deeply toasted malt, coffee, earth and a little bit of dark red fruits. Finish is sweetish but with burnt malt notes. Solid.

Aroma of milk chocolate, cocoa powder, slightly roasty malt, some vanilla. Flavour is sweet. Well made but not for me, too sweetish and thin for my taste.
