Huge thanks to Erzengel for sharing. Beer in the glass dark brown, small head. Dry malty aroma. Starts malty, roasty, some earthy notes as well. Light alcoholic touch. Finish more balanced, still dry-earthy-malty. Not bad!

Bottle shared at M&M, courtesy of Michael. Danke sehr. Murky brown with tan head. Sweet malts, dark malts, chocolate malts. Gone sour grain, woody, bready, sourdough, yeasty. Moderate sour and mild bitter. Medium body and soft carbonation. I don’t believe the sourness is intended but it’s everywhere. --- Beer merged from original tick of Cast Red Ale on 14 May 2018 at 17:08 - Score: 5
