Bottle. Almost black color. Aroma: caramel, whisky, sweet, prunes, powerful. Taste: herbs, whisky, caramel wine, port, a little oysters. Great!

Bottle from Boxbeers. Black with a small light brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt and smoked. Flavor is quite sweet and rather bitter. Dry and roasted rather bitter finish. Oily and soft. 070717

Bottle. Pours cloudy very dark brown with airy dark tan head. Clear aroma of roast and coffee, with distinctive smoky notes. Bitter, roasty flavour with notes of coffee, smoke and malt and some hoppy and estery touches. Roasty aftertaste. Good.

Bottle, 11%. Good smokey and creamy aroma. Black colour. Good stable light brown head. The flavour is roasted and fruity. Has a good roasted and bready note, some dry liquorice. Raw liquorice finish. Dry but good.

Bouteille 33cl, BB 16/11/2017, batch#331. Brune foncée, col beige, le tout sur un doré au verre huileux. Arôme aux effluves de malt, grillé et caramel, chocolaté, fruits noirs et finement épicé - petites pointes de fumé et épaisseur de grains qui se note sur la fin. En l’état, je note peu l’impact de l’huitre, et surtout de son effet salin. Palais est de suite axé sur les 11%, chocolaté avec un petit côté minéral - salin qui sort bien avec la base maltée conséquente. Fruité noire avec un bel effet des piments fumés qui donnent un effet presque de chipotle. Pointe de réglisse et effet d’épices de noël. Amertume perce sur la fin.

Tap@Taphouse 3rd Year Anniversary Week, Copenhagen - pours black with a brown head. Deep dark roasted and sweet malty aroma and taste, with opulent chocolate, caramel, coffee, some burnt and charred malty accents, smooth mouthfeel, bitter chocolate malty finish.

Draught at Taphouse. Pitch black with a thin tanned head. Sweet aroma with dark malts, chocolate and coffee. Salty notes. Taste is bitter roasted. Full body with an oily texture. Finishes lasting dry and salty with dark malts. Excellent Stout.
