On tap. ½Pint for £1.08 at Wetherspoon-pub in Derry. Slightly sparkeling, sweetish, easy to drink. Smooth apples, juicy and not really tart. The aftertaste is smooth with sweet apples.

500ml bottle. Clear orange-golden amber colour, fizzy white head that quickly dissipates away and aroma of tart apple. Flavour of juicy apple & apple skins with some tartness. Medium bodied, well carbonated, dry tannic finish. Quite OK.

Tap at Ales and Tails, Twickenham, 04/05/13. Clear light golden with a minimalistic white head. Nose is light smoke, apples, brown sugar, burnished wood notes. Taste comprises lightly smoked apple and pork, dark sugars. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, sweet finish. Ok.

Very short-lived head reducing to white rim over darker golden juice. Sweet applejuice with a light spicy offset - also alcohol? Short-lived appleflavuor, sweet, and - as the perry - very carbonated, giving a light acidity. Finish is lame and watery. Light applejuice slickness, very carbonated. Not a patch on real scrumpy.
