Herbal nose. Clear medium amber colour, small frothy off-white head, mostly diminishing, light lacing. Aroma malty, herbs, dark bread, earthy notes. Taste medium sweet and bitter, dark rye bread, malty backbone, herbs, grass. Retronasal light smoke, prickly mouthfeel, medium body, watery to oily texture, soft carbonation. Sweetbitter aftertaste, malty and earthy notes, not really a fresh kuit beer, clear malty presence all the way, interesting and more than nice.

Fles thuis geprobeerd met Roelzie1986. Het is een donker geel bier met een witte schuimkraag welke snel weg ebt. Het heeft een moutige wat grassige geur. De smaak is moutig en wat gerst/brood achtig.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ van Rooij, Culemborg. Light hazy dark golden with a white head. Malty aroma with a very light smoky touch. Sweet taste with a dry bitter finish. Starts a bit weird and unbalanced but turns out to be quite a complex and balanced beer.
